Oscar Nominees

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences was established in 1927, and today the Academy Awards are the most prominent annual awards ceremony in the world.  Current rules dictate that between 5 and 10 films are nominated for Best Picture (once known as "Best Production") each year.  The following is a list of all films that were nominated for this reward, but fell short.  For a list of winners, go here.  The list is up to date through the 2013 ceremony, which recognized films produced in 2012.  Clicking on a link will take you to that film's review on Infinite Film Fest.
